• California Department of Aging: The California Department of Aging helps older individuals and their families access important information such as health services, caregiver support, and other resources.
• California Senior Legislature: The California Senior Legislature is a nonpartisan, volunteer-based organization made up of senior citizens. It functions as a forum for older Californians to voice their opinions and concerns to the state legislature.
• California Caregiver Resource Centers: The California Caregiver Resource Centers provides a range of services to family caregivers of adults with chronic and disabling conditions. Services include counseling, respite care, support groups, and training.
• The California Health Advocates: The California Health Advocates provides advocacy and education services to Medicare beneficiaries and their families on a variety of issues, including long-term care planning, health insurance, legal assistance, and prescription drug coverage.
• Meals on Wheels California: Meals on Wheels California provides nutritious meals and vital contact with other people to seniors who are homebound or have significant mobility challenges.

• Multipurpose Senior Services Program: California residents who qualify for the Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP) Waiver may be able to have their Medical Care Alert system paid for by the state. This waiver provides Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) to Medi-Cal eligible individuals who are 65 years or older and disabled as an alternative to nursing facility placement. The MSSP waiver allows the individuals to remain safely in their homes. Check with your social worker or DHCS for more information.
• California Community Transitions (CCT) Program Description: California’s version of the federal Money Follows the Person (MFP) Rebalancing Demonstration program is known as California Community Transitions. Its goal is to facilitate a safe and successful transition from an institutional setting back to the community. The services provided include home modification (including Personal Emergency Response Systems), up to $7,500 lifetime maximum. Qualified participants include Medicaid-eligible individuals of all ages with physical and mental disabilities who have continuously resided in state-licensed health care facilities for a period of 90 consecutive days or longer.

The medical alert button cost is included in the price of your medical alert system - prices range from $27.45 to $45.79 a month for service. Our "HOME" annual plan pricing is just $27.45 a month. For around $1 a day, you or your loved one will be protected and able to continue living independently at home.

You can easily take our "HOME" systems with you on vacation, or if you are a Snowbird. It is very easy to unplug and re-install. Simply notify Medical Care Alert Customer Service at 877-913-3680 of your current location. Information can be changed anytime and as many times as needed at no charge.

Our "HOME & AWAY" and "SmartWatch" systems can be taken anywhere throughout California and all other states in the USA. You will be protected anywhere you have coverage with the AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile Cellular networks (depending on which system you choose). GPS and Wi-Fi will tell us your current location in the event of an emergency.
